At the Park, 1-3-09

I went to the park with Karson, Samuel, Adam, Kaelin, Carly, Kj, and Alyssa.
We had so much fun. We played Dodgeball tag in the castle at the wetlands park. Until one of the mothers told us she didn't appreciate the ball being thrown. It could injure her child. haha. So we got rid of the ball and just played regular tag. It was exhausting. We then went and played volleyball. But we pretty much failed at that. So it kinda turned into a show of you skills hackie sack game. It was funny. Then the guys had a Cart wheel contest. i don't know for sure who won, but Karson definitley lost. Haha.
After we did all that, we went to Wendy's for a very late lunch. Their chicken nuggets are amazing! :] We sat in Wendy's talking for almost an hour. And then everyone decided to call it a day. Everyone was too tired to do anything else.
I went home and almost fell asleep, that's how tired I was.

Christmas

Jen and Nick came down for Christmas this year. We enjoyed family dinners, AT THE TABLE! That was new! :]
We even sat down and played a game that Jen and Nick got us. It was going well, until we started arguing. So we took a break from that and never went back. Christmas morning, Jen and Nick came to the house and we opened our presents.
I don't quite remember what everyone received, but Mom and Dad gave Jen and Nick a knife set. They were amazingly grateful.


After we opened our presents, we decided to go to the Wetlands park. It was so much fun. We played with these cool toys we got. They were a tennis ball with this velcro paddle thing. You'd throw the ball and catch it with the paddle, which the ball stuck to.



Then we rounded up everyone and took "family" pictures. But the parents weren't in the pictures :[

Jen and I went swinging.













We then walked the trail at the park. The trail led to the Mormon Battalion Monument. We found many names on the monument that we were either related to, or we just knew.
